A great way to grow and move toward your own style is to frequently look at other's art. I've started collecting websites, that I've put in a folder on my Google Favorites list, where I can browse art whenever I feel the urge. Let other artists inspire you and you can inspire others. Most art societies have links to their artist's websites. Museums are also a good place to browse. All states have art societies and there are many national societies and shows. Just start "Googleing" and see what you find.
